ADW Launcher 2

4.9
Application Description

If you believe that ADW Launcher 2 hasn't been updated, think again! From a non-linear perspective, we might have released this update ages ago, and you're just catching up. And don’t worry, we get it—not everyone has 1.21 gigawatts to spare!

We've delved deep into Google's recommendations about app settings and options. While some say that the ability to speak doesn't equate to intelligence, we've decided to go against the grain. Without freedom of choice, there's no creativity, and that's why ADW Launcher 2 is anything but boring.

You might find the plethora of settings overwhelming, but it's a perfectly normal reaction. Maybe you're not ready for this level of customization yet, but your kids certainly will be. With roughly 3,720 ways to configure your launcher, the possibilities are endless, and math doesn't lie.

Yes, we've got screens, icons, and widgets galore. And guess what? You can create your own or choose from a variety of themes and widget packs. Is your device's desktop feeling stale? Change it up! Your style, your rules. Whether you do or don't, there's a setting for it—tweak it, change it, just how you like it, shaken, not stirred.

Remember, "There's no such thing as 'the unknown,' only options inside ADW Settings." Are you going to miss out on this?

Endless Features

Most of the application has been reprogrammed and redesigned from the ground up, with a plethora of new features added. Here's a taste of what's new:

  • Support for Android 7.1 launcher shortcuts (with limited support on older versions down to 5.x).
  • A new icons effects section where you can choose image filters and compositions. Awesome!
  • Dynamic UI coloring that uses your wallpaper's colors.

  • New methods to add widgets and shortcuts.
  • New options to change the wallpaper, lock/unlock the desktop, or access settings by holding down an empty area of the desktop.
  • A fast scroll app drawer style.
  • An indexed fast scroll app drawer style.
  • Some desktop transitions for smoother navigation.

  • A fast application search within the app drawer.
  • Improved app categories in the app drawer.
  • An improved way to manage user gestures.
  • Better ways to apply internal and external themes.

  • Improved icon and folder properties dialogs.
  • A backup manager in advanced settings/system for importing data from other popular launchers.
