Application Description

Want to become a real artist?

Surprise your friends by becoming an excellent artist just like that. Unleash your creativity with the Artist's Eye, a utility that helps you draw or paint with a real pen or pencil on paper or canvas.

To get started, choose a model picture, such as a photo, and as you draw, watch your artwork through your phone or tablet, which needs to have a camera. The model image will appear semi-transparent over your ongoing drawing, assisting you in outlining the contours. This method is reminiscent of the centuries-old technique used with the camera lucida obscura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For the best results, it's recommended to attach your phone to a support stand to keep it steady, freeing up both hands for your art. This approach isn't cheating; it's a modern way of working and learning.
