Story
The tale of "Botanicula" unfolds with an animated opening: a monstrous spider is consuming the magical trees. Five unlikely heroes set out to save the last Elven Tree. This quirky band includes Poppy Head, Mr. Feather, Miss Mushroom, Mr. Twig, and Mr. Lantern.
Each has a unique talent: Poppy Head's strength tackles hard objects; Mr. Feather flies to reach items; Miss Mushroom's body bounces; Mr. Twig defies gravity on walls; and Mr. Lantern can stash things in his belly. While not classic magical warriors, they are an endearing group of misfits. They cheer over small victories and tremble before creatures much larger and scarier than themselves.
Although these five are central, most puzzles are solved by interacting with the myriad of bizarre and wonderful creatures inhabiting the tree.
