Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and graph before you step out to ensure you stay dry!
The Buienradar app kicks off with a 3-hour or 24-hour rain radar forecast. The radar image clearly indicates whether rain is expected in the upcoming hours or the following day. Below the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which provides precise details on when it will rain and the expected amount of rainfall in millimeters. For a closer look at your city or town, just tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
Available for Android phones and tablets, the Buienradar app features a handy widget that includes the rain graph, allowing you to check for rain without even opening the app!
Exciting news: The Buienradar Wear OS app is back! Use it to view the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the next hour. More features are on the way in the coming months. Please note, the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available on the Google Play Store and supports only wearables running Android Wear OS.

Get personalized weather information in the “Komende uren in” table for your favorite location, even abroad. This includes hour-to-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall per hour in millimeters, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.
Beyond the basics, we provide maps for thunderstorms, snow, sun, wind, and temperature, along with wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity data. Plus, get the exact times for sunrise and sunset at your location.
Our seasonal radar maps are tailored to your needs. Use the pollen and mosquito radars in the summer to get timely notifications for setting up your mosquito net. In winter, our snow radar keeps you informed about winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map warns you about night frost.
In the “14-daagse” tab, find the weather forecast for the next 14 days in a graph. Click on the “Lijst” tab for a detailed list view, offering an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.
Customize your experience in the “Meldingen” tab by setting up your own rain alert. Get free push notifications tailored to your daily schedule and favorite locations, so you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.
For an ad-free experience, consider the Buienradar Premium plan for €4,99. Easily find this option in “Instellingen” (“Settings”) and select “Neem Buienradar Premium” (Get Buienradar Premium).
