- Card Distribution: Each player receives 13 cards, totaling 52 cards in play.
- Card Arrangement: Players arrange their cards in descending order from highest to lowest before play begins.
- Game Start: The first player to finish arranging their cards signals readiness by calling "up."
- Gameplay Mechanics: Once all players are ready, the player to the right of the dealer initiates the game by playing the first card.
- Winning Rounds: The player with the highest card value wins the round and leads the next play with three cards.
- Scoring System: After all cards are played, points are tallied. Cards from Ace (A) to 10 are worth 10 points each, while cards from 9 to 2 are worth 5 points.
- Point Calculation: Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, and 10s score 10 points, and 9s through 2s score 5 points.
- Winning the Game: The first player to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games wins.
- Tie-Breaking Rules: If multiple players throw the same card value, the player who played later wins the round.
- Example Scenario: If Player 1 plays AKQ of Hearts, Player 2 plays 678 of Spades, Player 3 plays AKQ of Diamonds, and Player 4 plays 55J of Hearts, Player 3 wins with AKQ of Diamonds.
Card Hierarchy for Winning:

- Pair: Two cards of the same rank with any third card (e.g., 443, 99J, QQ6, with AAK being the highest pair and 223 the lowest).
- Indi or Individuals: Any three cards not forming a set, run, or color, where the highest card determines the winner (e.g., 5 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds, with 9 being the highest card).
