Journey of Monarch requires the following permissions for optimal gameplay. Optional permissions are not required to play and can be adjusted later.
- [Optional] Location: Used for region-specific ads.
- [Optional] Notifications: For informational and advertising push notifications.
- [Optional] Camera: To record and save photos, screenshots, and videos.
- [Optional] Microphone: For audio recording when capturing videos.
Note: Notification permissions are enabled by default on Android versions below 13. Permission to save may be requested for screen/video capture on Android 10 and below.
How to Manage Permissions:

Android 6.0 or higher:
- Privacy Settings: Settings > Security and privacy > Privacy > Permission Manager > Select the app > Allow or Don't Allow
- App Settings: Settings > Apps > Select the app > Select permissions > Allow or Don't Allow

Android 6.0 or lower: Permission management is not available through Privacy Settings. The only option is to uninstall the app. We recommend upgrading to the latest Android version.
