Important Update on Companion App for Knowledge is Power: Decades on PlayStation®4
As of December 14, 2023, there have been significant changes regarding the availability of companion apps for PlayLink games, including Knowledge is Power: Decades.
For Android Users: If you have already downloaded the Knowledge is Power: Decades companion app to your current device or it has been added to your library, you will continue to be able to play the game with the app. However, the companion app is no longer available for download from the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.
For Apple iOS Users: You will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app, regardless of your iOS version.
About Knowledge is Power: Decades: Challenge your friends and family in this high-energy quiz game on the PlayStation®4 system using the companion app. Test your trivia knowledge with thousands of pop culture questions from the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s.
How to Play:
- Use your smartphone as a controller to play with up to five other players.
- Be the fastest to answer questions, use Power Plays to gain an edge over opponents, and participate in touch screen Challenges.
- Ensure your PlayStation®4 system and compatible mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing.

- Choose your character and take selfies with fun filters.
- Answer quiz questions privately.
- Select Power Plays to slow down rivals.
- Engage in six touch screen Challenges by tapping, swiping, and dragging.
- Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge friends to beat your time on the go.
Supported Languages: The app supports English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
PlayLink Experience: PlayLink titles offer a social gaming experience that everyone can enjoy. Install the game on your PlayStation®4, use your smartphone or tablet as a controller, and enjoy gaming without the need for multiple DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controllers.
