A Fish Eater is an animal that regularly preys on humans as part of its natural hunting behavior.
In the game, the player takes control of a female bull shark who must evolve and survive in an open-world environment in order to seek revenge against the fisherman who disfigured her as a pup and murdered her mother.

Players can uncover hidden landmarks and complete various side objectives. Each region features other dangerous predators that will attack the player, such as muskellunge, barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and even rival sharks. Additionally, every area has its own unique apex predator — larger and distinct in appearance from regular species. These include a great barracuda, a shortfin mako, an American alligator, a great hammerhead, a great white, an orca, and an albino sperm whale. Defeating these powerful foes grants players special skills and bonuses.
The world reacts dynamically to the shark’s actions. As the shark causes more destruction and chaos, human bounty hunters are deployed to track it down. If the shark successfully eliminates the lead hunters, even more dangerous threats will emerge.
To grow stronger, the shark must hunt and consume aquatic wildlife such as fish and turtles to obtain essential nutrients — including proteins, fats, minerals, and rare mutagenics. Players can also target humans by creating havoc along the coastline, destroying yachts and ships, and knocking people off jet skis.
