FTS Driver App

3.5
Application Description

This app tracks GPS devices and provides drivers with tools to manage work information, accessible via a web console. Key features include:

  1. Travel Itinerary Management (TMS): Plan and track product deliveries, displaying current location (from GPS device or mobile tracker) and delivery status updates.

  2. Maintenance Log: Record vehicle maintenance, including refueling, servicing, condition checks, and repairs. Data is summarized and reported through the web console.

  3. Mobile Tracker: Provides location data from a mobile device (alternative to a dedicated GPS device). Location data is transmitted and stored while tracking is enabled, and transmission can be paused. This integrates with TMS and Vehicle Tracking. Requires permissions for:

    • Continuous Location Access: Enables background GPS location tracking for convenience.
    • Activity Recognition: Optimizes GPS data collection and energy efficiency. Data frequency varies depending on activity:
      • Still: Every 5 minutes (Power Save Mode).
      • Walking: Every minute.
      • In Vehicle: Every second (for accuracy), normally every minute.
    • Power Save Mode activates after 5 minutes of inactivity and deactivates upon movement.
  4. Vehicle Tracking: View real-time and historical location data from GPS or mobile trackers. Includes:

    • Device information
    • Notification settings
    • Daily travel summaries
    • Customizable GPS movement data intervals
    • Data from additional equipment (e.g., MDVR, TPMS, if installed)

User account settings include terms of service, privacy policy, and cookie policy.
