Astra Yao of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 has been given a dramatic narrative short film

Zenless Zone Zero shines a spotlight on Astra Yao with a new story focusing on her past. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) offers players a glimpse into the life of this popular singer and part-time on-air support character through a newly released animated short.

The short depicts Astra Yao participating in a benefit concert commemorating a devastating cavernous disaster. A brief, tense encounter with a journalist sets the stage for a flashback revealing dramatic events from her past. This adds depth and intrigue to her already captivating character.

Astra Yao is featured in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5, with Evelyn Chevalier appearing in the second.

The 1.5 update also brings the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation is delivered directly to in-game mail.

Joining the roster as a new S-rank agent is Astra Yao (Air, Support). Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao proves to be a formidable support agent. Her abilities provide significant HP restoration and substantial damage boosts to allies. Effective use of her skills enhances attack chains and quick assists, allowing squad members to unleash devastating damage upon enemies.
