Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based survival mode with a brand new Zombies map, marking the fifth addition to the game. A sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X account. The post, dated March 12, 2025, features an image of a grand mansion showing visible damage, flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.
The caption accompanying the image reads, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" with a "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a familiar face in the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War.
