Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Highly-acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor finally has a PlayStation release date: January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 launch on PS4 and PS5, the release was delayed to allow for further polish and optimization.
Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to widespread critical praise, Botany Manor quickly established itself as a top-tier puzzle game. The PlayStation port, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, faced a brief delay, but a new release date has now been confirmed.
Whitethorn Games announced the January 28th launch date on January 9th, fulfilling their earlier promise to provide an update. While the date is set, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available.
The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, aligning with other platform releases. It will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated for the PlayStation Store.
Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception, evidenced by its "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100 average score, 92% recommendation), highlights its charming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration. Its arrival on PlayStation is poised to significantly enhance the platform's already impressive puzzle game library.
With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available across all originally announced platforms. Developer Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
