Chronomon – Monster Farm is now available in early access for Android. Developed by Stone Golem Studios, this monster-taming farm simulation offers a one-time purchase of $9.99 with no advertisements or in-app transactions.
Restore a Farm in a Post-Apocalyptic Setting
Players are tasked with rebuilding communities and confronting a mysterious organization known as the Epoch Syndicate. Starting in a pixel-art styled devastated world, you capture and train Chronomon—creatures with over 100 varieties, each featuring distinct traits, rarity levels, and skill trees.
The game includes 39 skill trees and more than 300 abilities. While some Chronomon assist with exploration and agricultural tasks, others excel in executing Perfect Hits during combat or revealing hidden passive skills. They also support farm operations such as planting crops, gathering harvests, and clearing obstacles.
Grow more than 50 types of crops, engage in fishing with over 20 species to catch, and prepare meals to maintain the health of both your character and Chronomon. A dynamic weather system introduces elements like snowstorms and rainfall, impacting crop yields and battle strategies.
The narrative allows you to choose your path as a Monster Tamer, Farmer, or a combination of both. Explore a vast open world featuring dungeons, wooded areas, settlements, and concealed clearings. Below is a preview of the gameplay.
Time Mechanics in Chronomon
The game world evolves based on the time of day, influencing enemy patterns and non-playable character interactions. Additional features include a postal service and weekly mission boards in towns to encourage repeated visits.
During early access, players can experience all primary content, explore seven towns, engage in real-time and turn-based combat, develop their farm, participate in fishing, craft items, and customize their environment. Although substantial content is already available, developers intend to expand the game for approximately one year before the official 1.0 launch.
Chronomon incorporates cloud saving for cross-device compatibility across mobile devices, computers, gaming consoles, and smartwatches. Indeed, the game is playable on wearable technology. It can be downloaded through the Google Play Store.
