Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has released its first update since launch. On April 30, Sandfall Interactive shared via a Steam blog post that Hotfix 1.2.2 is now available, addressing multiple bugs and enhancing localization.
Key fixes include resolving soft-locks when stunning the Grown Bourgeon and similar issues on the world map. Localization updates have been made for French, German, and Chinese, improving the gaming experience for players worldwide.
Sandfall Interactive is actively developing further fixes and improvements, promising to keep fans informed. While these updates are crucial, the community eagerly awaits larger content expansions, such as potential DLCs. Recently, Expedition 33’s lead writer hinted on Instagram about the possibility of future DLC, citing the game's success as a favorable factor.

On April 30, via Expedition 33’s Twitter (X), Broche encouraged fans to explore The Hundred Line, describing it as a "great turn-based RPG made with love by an awesome team."
This mutual support follows a shout-out from The Hundred Line’s co-director Kazutaka Kodaka on April 28, who praised Expedition 33 on Twitter (X) and encouraged fans to experience both games. Despite competing with other RPGs like Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered, The Hundred Line has garnered "Very Positive" reviews on Steam. Meanwhile, Expedition 33 continues to dominate as the highest-rated game of 2025, with over 1 million copies sold in just three days.
