In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is also introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode. This free mode harks back to the original 1949 rules, offering a fresh yet nostalgic way to play. Key features include starting tokens at specific board positions, with Miss Scarlet always taking the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.
In this retro mode, accusations can only be made while in a room, and Clue Cards are entirely removed. Additionally, players cannot move through squares occupied by others, adding a strategic element to the gameplay. This update not only brings back familiar faces but also enriches the gameplay with a nod to the game's origins.
