Industry insider Tom Henderson, citing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.
Development is underway at four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, allowing select players to experience key game features and provide valuable feedback for final development.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS game is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
