Fields of Mistria's Third Major Update Lands on July 21
Heart Events, Dating, Monsters, Decor, QoL Improvements, and Beyond
Fields of Mistria will roll out its third major update on July 21, 2025, following its Early Access debut last year. This release introduces a new dating feature, higher heart and skill limits, additional events and quests, quality-of-life refinements, and much more. While the developers have shared a roadmap, here are the key highlights to expect.
Now You Can Date Your Favorite Villager

This update delivers something for everyone, including features the community has eagerly anticipated since Early Access began. A major focus is on enriching player interactions with the beloved NPC villagers. Those who've already maxed out their heart levels can now form even deeper bonds with their favorite characters. The update also adds eight heart events—special scenarios that offer greater insight into each villager's story and personality.
The long-awaited dating mechanic is finally here. Players who've had their eye on particular villagers can now ask them out on dates. While Fields of Mistria has always included romantic dialogue and moments, officially dating a character wasn't possible until now.
For players who prefer deepening friendships without romance, a new Best Friend path is also available.
Continue Your Quest to Revive Mistria

You'll have more opportunities to assist the townsfolk and engage with the community. After the update, the Request Board will feature additional tasks alongside new Town Repair Quests, advancing your efforts to restore Mistria. The Museum will also welcome new collectible sets with corresponding rewards. If you've already hit Renown Level 90, don't worry—the cap is increasing, so you can earn even more valuable rewards.
New Skill Perks and Expanded Storage

Revitalizing Mistria becomes more manageable with the raised skill cap and additional perks. Farming, fishing, foraging, and exploring will feel smoother and more rewarding. Of course, growing collections can strain your storage, but quality-of-life improvements include larger chests and a new auto-deposit feature that lets you transfer items to existing stacks with a single click.
Beyond these additions, players can anticipate new monsters, Sunday Market vendors, cosmetic items, a festival, and a greenhouse to satisfy all your gardening ambitions!
