Currently, some U.S. Apple users might encounter issues finding Fortnite directly through the App Store search function, but Epic assures that this will be resolved "soon." In the interim, you can access its revived store page by clicking here. For those in the E.U., Fortnite is also available for download through the Epic Games Store and AltStore.

The return of Fortnite to iOS devices marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in the ongoing saga between Epic and Apple. The conflict began in August 2020 when both Google and Apple removed Fortnite from their stores after Epic introduced an update that reduced the price of V-Bucks and implemented a direct payment system. Epic justified this move as a response to what they described as "exorbitant" fees charged by Apple and Google.

PlayThe ensuing legal battle, which kept Fortnite off official storefronts, lasted for years. However, in April, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney announced that Fortnite would make a comeback on the iOS App Store in early May, following a ruling by a U.S. Federal District Court in California. A slight delay due to continued resistance from Apple pushed the return back, but now, after a long wait, Fortnite is once again accessible on iOS devices.

Players who download Fortnite on their Apple devices can now choose to buy V-Bucks either through the Epic Games Store or via in-app purchases. For instance, those opting for the 2,800 V-Bucks pack priced at $22.99 can decide to pay Epic directly, receiving a 20% rebate ($4.60) to spend on other Epic offerings.
