Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse ways to customize your loadout. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with various uses—are crucial and often limited. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but this isn't a reliable way to stockpile them, especially early on when you can only equip one at a time. Let's fix that.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the right Entitlements. In your cell, interact with the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then tab right to find the "One-Item Permit." Each subsequent permit allows you to equip more Combat Items, up to a maximum of four.
These permits become available as you progress the story, typically by CODE level 3. They unlock sequentially; you must purchase each permit before the next appears. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack, so equipping a Frag Grenade, for instance, will use all currently held grenades at the start of the operation.
Your Accessory can also equip a single Combat Item, but its usage is at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing past the initial missions, you'll access The Warren hub. Here, find Zakka's store on the upper level's right side. Besides weapons, you can "Buy Items" to access Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions: Items that directly damage enemies.
- Medical Supplies: Items for healing, curing status effects, or replenishing ammo.
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating old resources might be necessary if you need a large supply of Medkits, for example. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a dependable farming method due to the time investment and the possibility of consuming more than you gain.
