After a slight delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally hit the scene. Hardbit Studio proudly announced that the game is now available for a soft launch exclusively on Google Play in the US, starting May 15th. While fans across the globe eagerly await their turn, US Android users can dive into the action right away.
The additional time spent in development was not in vain. Hardbit Studio utilized it to enhance the game's locations, boost performance, and enrich its content, resulting in a more expansive and stable experience. This groundwork sets the stage for the full rollout planned later this year.
Grand Outlaws kicks off with three thrilling core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. These modes are designed for fast-paced, mobile-friendly gameplay, featuring easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can seamlessly switch between modes or explore the vast open world at their leisure.
Currently, the soft launch is Android-exclusive, but Hardbit has a comprehensive multi-platform rollout planned. The full Android and Epic Store release is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic following in October. Console enthusiasts can look forward to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions in 2026, and cross-platform play is also on the horizon.
Looking ahead, Hardbit Studio has ambitious plans for Grand Outlaws. They're set to introduce new modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, alongside live events, a cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts. Additionally, the studio is exploring brand collaborations and seasonal content to keep the game fresh and exciting.
