Stealth is a key strategy for completing certain quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, and it's particularly crucial for the "Storm" quest. To successfully navigate "Storm," you'll need to embrace your inner sneak.
How To Start ‘Storm’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
"Storm" marks the conclusion of the main quests in the Trosky Region and introduces you to the Kuttenberg Region. This quest echoes the challenging circumstances of "For Whom the Bell Tolls," where you're stripped of your armor, weapons, and essentials like Saviour Schnapps. Additionally, your health is compromised due to prior torture, which also affects your stamina.

To gear up, you can scavenge some basic equipment from the guards that Katherine dispatched during your prison escape. While this gear isn't top-notch, it's better than going bare. Katherine also provides you with her dagger, enabling you to perform stealth kills. Your next step is to ascend to the top of the Crone in Trosky. The guards are spaced out enough for you to either knock them out or use distractions to sneak past them.

At the summit of the Crone, you'll confront Istvan Toth. This encounter doesn't influence the quest's best ending, so opting for a less honorable approach might be wise if you're unsure of your combat skills. A duel with Toth could lead to your quick demise given your weakened state. After dealing with him, search the area for everyone's belongings and collect vital documents.
How To Escape Trosky in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Once you've managed Toth and reclaimed your gear, head back to the dungeon where your companions await. They'll also retrieve their equipment and guide you through the escape tunnels. This part of the quest is straightforward as you simply follow them to safety.

How To Sneak Through the Hills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Begin by taking the right path uphill. This route leads to a more exposed path patrolled by guards, but it's necessary to reach Mika, who's been captured. Sneak up behind the guard, neutralize him, and free Mika. This not only saves your position but also provides you with Mika's guidance for the next phase.

The final leg of "Storm" is a prolonged stealth segment. Follow the markers on your map according to Mika’s instructions. Head towards the edge of the region, moving east and southeast to reach the main road in Apollonia, and then proceed southwards. Stick to the edges and use the bushes for cover to remain unseen by guards. The marked area on your map might seem vast, but you only need to reach about halfway to trigger the ending cutscene. Use stones to create distractions as needed to bypass guards. Once the cutscene begins, your part in "Storm" concludes, and you're set to move on to the Kuttenberg Region.
"Storm" is unique in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* because it mandates stealth rather than offering it as a choice. Prioritizing stealth skill development before this quest can be beneficial, as related perks enhance your ability to remain undetected.
