Infinix Launches Affordable GT 30 Pro Gaming Phone

Infinix has unveiled its latest gaming-centric smartphone, the GT 30 Pro, designed for users seeking robust performance at a budget-friendly price. Here's a closer look at what this new device brings to the table.

What Are the Specs?

The GT 30 Pro is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, ensuring smooth gameplay. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, reaching up to 1,600 nits of brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor along with a 13MP front-facing camera.

For gamers, the GT 30 Pro includes physical capacitive shoulder triggers, which offer low latency and remapping capabilities, ideal for quick-response gaming scenarios. The device comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

On the back, you'll find a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The battery capacity varies by region, with a 5,500mAh unit in most areas and a 5,200mAh in others. Charging options include 45W wired and 30W wireless, with support for bypass charging to minimize heat during extended gaming sessions.

Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, the GT 30 Pro integrates AI tools powered by DeepSeek R1 and boasts an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone's back sports the eye-catching Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 with sharp lines and RGB lighting, available in three colors: Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. As for the GT 30 Pro's performance and value, only time will tell. In the USA, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is expected to be priced at $489, while the 512GB version might cost $529.
