Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th, at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls arrives, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a brand-new battle pass.
A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's a Strategist class character, capable of both damaging opponents and healing allies with her primary attack. A knockback ability keeps enemies at bay, complemented by her invisibility and double jump for enhanced mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for teammates and unleash an ultimate ability creating a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
The update also introduces Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons are planned to run for roughly three months. Mister Fantastic's gameplay, revealed in a separate trailer, highlights his versatility as a Duelist, combining stretching attacks with increased durability.
While the addition of the Fantastic Four is generating considerable excitement, some players anticipated the arrival of Blade in Season 1. Data mined information confirmed his presence in the game files, fueling speculation. However, with Dracula confirmed as the primary antagonist for Season 1, Blade's debut will have to wait. Despite this, anticipation remains high for future content from NetEase Games.
