As the summer season approaches, Pokémon Go enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to with the upcoming June update. Despite the unexpected rain dampening the pre-summer mood, the excitement for what's to come in the game remains high. Pokémon Go is not just continuing its journey; it's set to introduce some major new features and events that will keep players engaged and entertained throughout June.
The update will spotlight three exciting Pokémon: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. These featured Pokémon will be accompanied by a series of five Dynamax battles, each scheduled throughout the month. Chansey will kick things off on June 2nd, followed by Machop from the 9th to the 15th, Hatenna from the 16th to the 22nd, Caterpie from the 23rd to the 29th, and Shuckle wrapping up the month from the 30th to July 6th. These battles will be available at Max Battles and certain Power Spots, offering players plenty of opportunities to engage with these Pokémon.
Adding to the thrill, the June update will also introduce new five-star Raids. Trainers can battle Tapu Bulu from June 3rd to 5th, Groudon from the 5th to the 14th, Kyogre from the 14th to the 23rd, and Cobalion from the 30th to July 8th. Lucky trainers may even encounter Shiny versions of these formidable Pokémon, adding an extra layer of excitement to the challenge.
Shadow Raids will feature the formidable Shadow Regice, appearing during weekends in June. Alongside, Mega Raids will introduce mega versions of Altaria (June 3rd-5th), Abomasnow (5th-14th), Manectric (14th-23rd), Beedrill (23rd-30th), and Aggron (30th-8th), offering players a chance to battle these powerful Pokémon and add them to their collections.
The month will be packed with events to keep the community buzzing. The Serene Retreat event will be the first to launch, running from May 30th to June 3rd. Following that, players can look forward to Instrumental Wonders, Phantom Ruins, Community Days, and a mystery event, among others. These events promise to bring new challenges, rewards, and fun for Pokémon fans, making the rainy pre-summer days much more enjoyable.
