Konami’s eFootball Is Celebrating the Series’ 30th Anniversary with a Global Festival

Konami Digital Entertainment is celebrating a major milestone this year with the 30th Anniversary of eFootball. There are countless exciting events taking place to mark this special occasion. A global festival is underway, and several newcomers are making their debut in the game.

Join the Celebration of eFootball’s 30th Anniversary this summer!

Pelé is entering the game for the first time. Revered as one of football’s greatest legends, Pelé now appears as an Epic player card. What makes his arrival even more special is that he comes with two brand-new exclusive skills: Phenomenal Finish and Phenomenal Pass—skills no other player has ever had. Pair him with iconic legends like Johan Cruyff and Ferenc Puskás to unlock unforgettable gameplay moments.

As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration, players who log in during this period will receive a wide range of rewards. These include Focus Cards for Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, 10 Item Selectors, and an Epic Legends Assemble Contract. You’ll also receive seven 30th Anniversary Chance Deal Contracts, a special 30th Anniversary Kit, along with Training Plans, eFootball Coins, EXP, and GP.

Additional incentives are available in the Tour Events and Challenge Events. Here, you can earn more coins, contracts, EXP, and training items to continuously strengthen your squad.

Konami also has exciting plans in the real world!

The company will host the first-ever eFootball World Festival on July 21st, 2025, at Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in Tokyo, Japan. This free event is open to all eFootball fans and will feature 30th Anniversary Live Stage Events, including announcements of new content and updates on licensing partnerships.

The festival will also host the eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals. Top esports players such as Ettorito97 from AC Milan and N_Apriamashvili from Inter Milan will compete for the ultimate title. The event will be broadcast globally in nine languages.

eFootball’s journey began in 1995 under the name Winning Eleven, later known as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). Over the years, the franchise has evolved into eFootball, a free-to-play football simulation. Download it today on the Google Play Store to experience the legacy firsthand.
