Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Data on Hero Popularity and Win Rates
NetEase has released comprehensive statistics highlighting the most and least popular heroes in Marvel Rivals during its first month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console. This information comes just before the launch of Season 1, which introduces the Fantastic Four and significant balance changes.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay popularity, proving a fan favorite across both PC and console platforms. However, Mantis boasts the highest overall win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%) modes. Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" also reveals platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger for console competitive players and Luna Snow for PC competitive players.
Marvel Rivals: Most Popular Heroes
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates: a mere 1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive. This low popularity is attributed to perceived weaknesses in her damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably. The upcoming season, launching January 10th, promises to reshape the meta and these statistics dramatically.
