Japanese game publisher A Plus has opened pre-orders for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. The anime-style MMORPG is scheduled for a global release in October 2025. Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the game is also launching its PC Closed Beta Test today.
The countdown to launch is underway!
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance builds extensively upon the original Blue Protocol, which first launched in Japan back in 2023.
Regrettably, the original version was shut down just a year later due to a declining player base. Its servers went offline in January 2024, and plans for an international release were ultimately canceled.
Even so, the new Star Resonance edition represents a fresh start for Blue Protocol—and this time, A Plus is committed to getting it right from day one.
Set in the world of Magna, the game lets you mine rare crystals, gather herbs and mushrooms, and survive sudden monster stampedes. Players can block with shields, heal with brilliant spells, and unleash damage through skill-based combat.
You can adapt your playstyle to each situation, while the customization system enables you to create unique outfits that stand out in bustling towns.
There are also plenty of relaxing activities: fishing by the river, dancing at festivals, or setting off fireworks. Multiplayer raids featuring powerful bosses will also be a core part of the experience.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance pre-registration is now open
Star Resonance has been optimized for mobile with a touch-friendly interface. Both mobile and PC players will share the same servers. Take a look at the pre-registration trailer for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance below.
With its colorful visuals and smooth combat, the game looks very promising. Pre-register now on the Google Play Store.
