Monster Hunter Now kicks off Season 5: The Blossoming Blade with its second major update, introducing Spring Hunt 2025 – a premium online event running May 24-25, 2025. This update also features the formidable elder dragon Chameleos as its centerpiece.
Spring Hunt 2025 Event Details
To participate, purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This grants access to uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions exclusively featuring Chameleos, eliminating wait times between battles. Participants also receive exclusive Chameleos-themed layered armor.
The event includes two Exchange Hubs, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub active from May 19 at 9:00 AM through June 2 at 11:59 PM.
From May 19-25, hunt large monsters and elder dragons to earn tokens redeemable for rare items including Silver Rathalos Plates, Glavenus Plates, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
Mastering the Chameleos Hunt
Chameleos employs stealth tactics and obscuring mist attacks to disorient hunters. Beginning May 24, 2025, players can challenge this elusive elder dragon in special Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Hunters ranked 100+ can encounter 8-star Chameleos Interceptions starting at 9:00 AM on May 24. This creature shows particular weakness to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements - plan your loadout accordingly.
Successful hunts yield materials for crafting the Mizuha Set armor, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill that reduces poison/venom duration by 50% while enhancing your poisoning capabilities.
The Chameleos weapon lineup includes Dual Blades, Great Swords, Long Swords, Hammers, Gunlances, Switch Axes, Charge Blades, and Bows. Download Monster Hunter Now from Google Play to join the Spring Hunt 2025.
