Monster Hunter Now is buzzing with excitement as Niantic introduces a new testing phase for a feature called Monster Outbreaks. This test is designed to gather player feedback and make any necessary adjustments before officially launching it as a full feature. Are you ready to dive into the action and provide your insights?
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks will take place from April 26th to 27th, offering two-hour windows each day. You can join the event twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., according to your local time.
During these windows, specific outbreak points on the map will suddenly be overrun by 8-star Black Diablos. The objective is to team up with other players to take down 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within the designated one-hour period. Note that this target is specific to each outbreak spot, not a global total.
To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Additionally, the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon. By tapping on these icons, you can view the details and even sign up on a roster to coordinate with other hunters.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the slay count are intriguing. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. If your group successfully reaches the 100-mark before time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
There are exciting rewards on offer for those who successfully meet the 100-monster goal. Participants can claim 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, if you use the sign-up roster, you're eligible to receive the special Outbreak Test I Medal.
Are you eager to participate? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and join the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend. Don't miss out on this thrilling opportunity to hunt in a swarm and contribute to the game's development!
