NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game is officially shutting down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful Dead by Daylight title. Originally released on PC in June 2016, the mobile version arrived in April 2020.
Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either Killer or Survivor in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse. Killers aimed to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors fought for survival.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The game's servers will officially shut down on March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will provide details regarding refunds according to regional laws on January 16th, 2025.
Existing players can transition to the PC or console versions of Dead by Daylight, receiving a welcome package as an incentive. Loyalty rewards will also be offered for players who made in-app purchases or accumulated significant XP on the mobile platform.
If you're interested in experiencing Dead by Daylight Mobile before its closure, you can download it from the Google Play Store. Be sure to do so before January 16th, 2025.
