- New Go Pass feature undergoing testing in select regions
- Participation window open from April 1st to May 6th
- Both Free and Deluxe tiers are available
Pokémon Go is introducing a new way to earn rewards, with a test run of the upcoming Go Pass feature now live in select regions. Following the success of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, this new system is set for a global rollout soon. Players in eligible areas can participate in Go Pass: April to secure a variety of in-game items.
Battle passes have become a popular feature in many games, and Pokémon Go is now joining the trend. From April 1st to May 6th, you can collect Go Points to level up your pass and unlock rewards such as encounters with Xerneas, Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls.
The Go Pass is free, but for players seeking enhanced benefits, the Go Pass Deluxe offers premium rewards including a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, and useful items like Incubators and Lure Modules. You can upgrade to the Deluxe tier at any time and claim rewards retroactively from ranks you've already unlocked.

Advancing through the pass leads to Major Milestones that grant additional perks. Tier one extends the duration of Daily Adventure Incense, Tier two boosts XP and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs, and Tier three increases Stardust and XP earned from hatching Eggs. The final Deluxe reward is another Lucky Trinket, which guarantees a Lucky Friend trade.

As the Go Pass is still in testing, its rewards and structure may differ by region. Some areas might feature different Pokémon encounters, adjusted item rewards, or even PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations will help Niantic refine the system before its full launch.
If you're in an eligible region, this is your opportunity to experience the Go Pass ahead of its global release. Remember to collect all earned rewards by May 8th, and use any Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th.
