Pikmin Bloom is set to celebrate its 3.5th anniversary next month with a nostalgic twist, bringing back classic gadgets from the golden era of Nintendo. The festivities will kick off with an exciting event starting on May 1st, 2025, lasting the entire month.
The Update Is a Cool Throwback to the Good Old Nintendo Days!
Over the years, Pikmin Bloom has delighted players with unique decor, such as Pikmin adorned with Mahjong Tiles and Playing Cards. This 3.5th anniversary, the game is taking a trip down memory lane with the introduction of classic Nintendo game consoles from the 80s and 90s.
Adding to the nostalgia, a new Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin will be available, paying homage to Nintendo’s origins in the playing card industry before they ventured into video games. These cards are designed to reflect Nintendo’s vintage playing card decks.
The event, running from May 1st to May 31st, 2025, offers players a full month to engage in missions and collect these new, retro-inspired Pikmin. Completing Event Challenge missions will reward players with random items, including Game Button Cells, seedlings that can grow into Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 Decor Pikmin, and flower petals.
During the event, Brilliant Mushrooms will appear, which players can smash to obtain Mystery Boxes containing Game Button Cells, flower petals, and other goodies. The Nintendo Consoles ‘80-‘95 and Playing Card Decor Pikmin are particularly effective at tackling these mushrooms.
Pikmin Bloom 3.5th Anniversary Also Brings Big Flowers in May
May's floral offerings include the chance to grow carnations, sweet peas, lilies of the valley, freesias, canola flowers, or special anniversary roses by planting red, yellow, white, or blue petals around them.
Additionally, a nectar update will enhance the fruit from mushrooms during May, providing nectar for regular flowers as well as the special blooms like carnations, sweet peas, lilies of the valley, freesias, canola flowers, and anniversary roses.
The celebration extends to other activities, including a Community Day. Make sure to download Pikmin Bloom from the Google Play Store and get ready for the 3.5th anniversary festivities.
