With summer heat bearing down worldwide, if you’ve been hesitating to step outside for some sun, maybe a new Pokémon GO event will tempt you out. Indeed, new Pokémon are arriving as Hisuian Zorua and its evolution make their debut, accompanied by a range of new bonuses in the latest Ultra Unlock celebration!
The event runs from July 8th to 13th. The headline additions are, of course, the aforementioned Hisuian Zorua and its evolution, Hisuian Zoroark. You can evolve them using 50 Zorua Candy, and during the event enjoy 4× XP for catching Pokémon and 4× Stardust for catches.
Meanwhile, to boost Hisuian encounters, you’ll have a better chance of finding Shiny Hisuian Voltorb and Shiny Hisuian Qwilfish. These appear alongside an increased Shiny chance for Unown U in raids. But wait—there’s more! Anomalies in space and time are also appearing.

Yes, it’s not just Pokémon TCG Pocket facing an Extradimensional Crisis. Space‑time anomalies are mysterious phenomena that show up during the event. They let you encounter a wide array of Pokémon, and a new Collection Challenge tasks you with catching those that emerge from these rifts for special rewards.
That’s in addition to new Field Research tasks, more Hisuian Pokémon appearing in Raids, and increased wild encounters with various species including Sneasel, Larvitar, and Bagon! With Zacian and Zamazenta arriving soon as part of Go Fest 2025, plus a host of other events on the horizon, there’s no better time to dive into Pokémon GO!
