Pokemon TCG Pocket Unveils Shining Revelry, Hints at Ranked Matches

Author : Jonathan Apr 18,2025

The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, *Shining Revelry*, has introduced dazzling new shiny variants to the game, along with over 110 new cards that have fans buzzing with excitement. The expansion includes cards from the Paldea region, adding a fresh twist to your collection. As soon as the update went live, I couldn't resist diving in and spending some of my Pack Hourglasses on a 10-pack pull. To my delight, I managed to pull a Charizard EX, though the rest of the haul was less thrilling. However, snagging a Pokémon Center Lady card provided some comfort, given her ability to heal Special Conditions—a useful asset when you're up against a debilitating Burn.

As with previous expansions, *Shining Revelry* brings an Emblem event where you can earn stylish new badges to show off to your friends. But the real excitement comes with the introduction of Ranked Matches, where you'll battle other Trainers to climb from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Your performance will be tracked with points, and at the end of the season (which lasts approximately one month), you'll receive an emblem to commemorate your achievements. It's time to dust off those dueling skills and start crafting competitive decks.

If you're eager to join the fun, you can download Pokémon TCG Pocket for free on the App Store and Google Play, with optional in-app purchases available.
