Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event, inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, will take place in Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park.
Explore themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade), catch regional Unova Pokémon, and hunt for shiny Deerling variants depending on location and time. Shiny Meloetta awaits via Masterwork Research, alongside shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others. Lucky Trainers might even find a shiny Pikachu with a special hat!
Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids – all with increased shiny rates.
Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price: $25 USD (Los Angeles) and $630 NT (New Taipei). Add-ons offer extra bonuses like 5,000 XP per raid completion. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). Expect merchandise booths and team lounges!
Can't make it? A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all Trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This citywide event hits Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery! Receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee, and evolve it into Sylveon or Jolteon (keeping the hat!). The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns you a second hatted Eevee.
Expect Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more in the wild. Eggs will hatch Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, Skiddo, and location-specific Pokémon. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors (while supplies last) will help you stay cool.
Tickets cost R$45 (São Paulo) and $10 USD (Hong Kong). Add-ons are available for extra items and boosted shiny encounter chances.
