Pokémon Go's Fidough Fetch Event: Catching Puppies and Earning Rewards!
Get ready for a paw-some adventure! Niantic has launched the Fidough Fetch event in Pokémon Go, running until January 7th. This event marks the debut of the adorable Puppy Pokémon, Fidough, and its evolution, Dachsbun. Trainers can catch these new Pokémon and participate in Global Challenges for exciting rewards.
Fidough will be appearing globally throughout the event. Collect 50 Fidough Candy to evolve it into Dachsbun. Meanwhile, the Global Challenges require players to throw Nice Curveball Throws to unlock escalating rewards. The more you achieve, the greater the rewards, ranging from double XP for catching Pokémon to up to quadruple XP and Stardust! Don't forget to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for extra bonuses!
Beyond Fidough, increased spawn rates for popular Pokémon like Growlithe, Voltorb, Snubbull, Electrike, Lillipup, and Poochyena await, with a chance to find their shiny forms. Lucky trainers might even encounter Hisuian Growlithe and Greavard!
Prefer a less active approach? Event-themed Field Research tasks offer rewards like Stardust, Poké Balls, and encounters with event Pokémon. And don't forget to showcase your newly caught Pokémon in the Pokémon Showcases!
