Puzzle & Dragons 0 Debuts on Android with Root Tree Feature

Puzzle & Dragons 0 has launched, offering a fresh twist on the classic orb-matching and monster-battling formula. Developed by GungHo Entertainment, creators of the original mobile hit, this new iteration reinvents the beloved puzzle-RPG hybrid.

What's New in Puzzle & Dragons 0?

The original Puzzle & Dragons debuted in 2012 with its simple yet addictive orb-matching mechanics. Puzzle & Dragons 0 retains this core gameplay while introducing exciting new features.

Players still match three or more same-colored orbs to trigger attacks from their creature team. More powerful combos deliver greater damage, allowing skilled players to eliminate enemies in spectacular single-turn chains. Check out the latest gameplay in the video below.

The most notable improvements include enhanced flexibility. Players can now switch between vertical and horizontal screen orientations to suit their preferences. Team customization receives greater emphasis through new progression systems.

The innovative Root Tree evolution system allows players to develop their units along different paths based on team strategy. After strengthening their squad, players can create optimized combinations of their favorite monsters.

Staying True to the Original

Like its predecessor, Puzzle & Dragons 0 lets players gather materials from dungeons to forge unique creatures using battle-earned Crystals and Mana. The focus remains on creative monster development rather than simple collection.

Puzzle & Dragons 0 is available as a free-to-play title with optional purchases. The global release spans over 150 countries with support for 11 languages. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
