Following the thrilling Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two new characters: Spider-Woman, who swings into action on April 17th, and Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, debuting on April 9th. Spider-Woman brings her unique spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to The Contest, while Lumatrix, a dazzling yet dangerous assassin crafted by The Founders, utilizes light manipulation powers that mask a deadly intent. To add Lumatrix to your roster, gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event extending through June 4th.
Alongside these new characters, dive into fresh quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all offering valuable rewards. The new Spy Games quest, running from March 9th to May 7th, features Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Eidols and Lumatrix’s sinister light show. This espionage-filled adventure promises danger and deception at every turn.
Deadpool also joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed, available from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool is ready to share a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, will shake up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. Completing milestones in this event will earn you Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
