Haven't finished collecting all the cards from the Pokémon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians Expansion, which was released just three weeks ago? Well, brace yourself because another exciting expansion is on its way! The new expansion, named Extradimensional Crisis, is set to launch on May 29 and will introduce the quirky Ultra Beasts and the mysterious chimera Pokémon, Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis will bring the otherworldly Ultra Beasts into the mix, those peculiar alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokémon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards for this expansion include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Additionally, we'll see more Alola Pokémon, complementing those introduced in Celestial Guardians. The inclusion of Type: Null hints at the potential arrival of its evolution, Silvally, which adds another layer of excitement for collectors.
Alongside new cards, Extradimensional Crisis will introduce fresh cosmetics. Starting May 29, players can exchange shop tickets for an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover. Additionally, a floral display board will be available for purchase with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, kicking off on June 11.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has been consistently releasing expansions since its launch last year. Although Extradimensional Crisis is categorized as a minor booster expansion with just one booster pack type, it's arriving hot on the heels of its predecessors. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, following Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain available in the game, but stay tuned as this could change in the future.
