Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update in a week can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses, regardless of their massive health pools. Ironically, this exploit centers around the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed one of the game's weakest DPS options.
The exploit's mechanics are deceptively simple. Using the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) is the key. By strategically placing a significant number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, players witness a dramatic and unexpected reduction in the boss's health.
This amplified damage stems from the Elemental Burst's interaction with the lanterns, triggering significantly increased AoE damage. With a sufficient number of lanterns (think hundreds), damage output can reach millions, effectively trivializing boss encounters.
