Rinascita offers numerous intriguing puzzles, including the challenging Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting restoration puzzles are relatively simple yet rewarding, providing valuable resources such as Astrites in Wuthering Waves. This guide explains their mechanics, locations, and solutions.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoration involves placing the correct paintings onto the designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and utilize the Levitator utility to position the painting. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but you can manually select it using Tab or the D-Pad Left.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated within the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, found within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Resounding Rise (one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):
- Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing progression in the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
Located within the "Trial of Wisdom" during the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle (eastern Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings on pedestals to create a chronological narrative from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple way to confirm correct placement is to observe the painting frame; it will illuminate upon successful placement. This visual cue simplifies puzzle solving.
