HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th and bringing a whirlwind of intrigue to New Eridu. This update significantly expands the story and introduces compelling new characters.
What's New in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
Version 1.6 plunges Proxies into a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, forcing them to compete for a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. Adding to the chaos, the Mockingbird, a phantom thief syndicate, aims to disrupt the Mayor's plans. Other factions also vie for control of the artifact, creating a complex web of alliances and betrayals. Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Formerly known as Soldier 0, leader of Silver Squad, Anby wields dual swords, unleashing devastating electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. Trigger utilizes Sniper Mode to evade attacks, deliver precise shots, and set up Quick Assists for teammates.
Returning Favorites and New Challenges
Several popular characters are making a comeback, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all featured in rerun banners. Geppetto emerges as the new Hollow Zero boss, promising a challenging encounter.
Battlefront Purge introduces a demanding Difficulty VI, pushing players to their limits. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic effects to each battle stage, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.
Trigger's TV Schedule offers unique third-person sniper gameplay, tasking players with completing challenging sniper missions. "March On, Tiny Titan!" allows control of a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while "Little Knight's Big Charge" guides a Bangboo through ten trials to earn rewards, including Pulchra as a playable agent.
