As the game celebrates its first anniversary and gears up for its Xbox launch, the highly anticipated Version 2.0 update, titled "Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn," is set to launch on June 6th. This major update promises to bring a fresh wave of content to the game, including a new area to explore and a host of new characters to meet.
The update introduces the Waifei Peninsula, a new district within New Eridu, distinct from the wider city. Players will embark on a journey from the main city of Failume Heights to explore the mysterious Lemnian Hollow. This new area is not only visually stunning but also packed with secrets waiting to be uncovered by your Proxies.
One of the exciting additions to the Waifei Peninsula is the Suibian Temple, where players can take on the role of a manager. This introduces a brand-new minigame that involves upgrading facilities, defeating Bangboos, completing commissions, and collecting resources from the Hollows to earn in-game rewards.
To tackle the new challenges in the Waifei Peninsula, players will have access to a roster of new allies. Leading the charge is Yixuan, the Grandmaster, an S-rank agent with a unique mechanic called Adrenaline, allowing her to bypass enemy defenses. Alongside Yixuan, six other agents, including the formidable panda-like Pan Yinhu, will join your team, each bringing their own set of abilities to the fray.
Version 2.0 also brings significant quality-of-life improvements to enhance your experience in New Eridu. A new 3D map will make navigation smoother, and the introduction of Fissure Beacons will allow you to restore HP, revive fallen agents, and quickly jump back into the action.
