Record Your Catch

2.8
Application Description

Use this app to create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that fish in UK waters. This tool is essential for all U10m flag vessels to record their catch accurately, helping UK fishing authorities manage fishing levels sustainably.

You can use this service if you are a registered vessel owner or a skipper. If you are a registered vessel owner, you will receive an invite email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel size, and you have one calendar month after receiving it to register and start using the service. If you are a skipper, you should contact the owner of the vessel to get an invite.

Please note, if you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should not use the online record your catch service. Instead, continue to record your catch using a paper logbook.

This service replaces the NEP1 form, the MSAR1 form (though local IFCAs may require additional information depending on your location), and the requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe).
