PHASE 10 RULES:

A phase is a specific card combination. These can include sets (cards sharing the same value), runs (consecutive cards in ascending order), cards of a single color, or mixes of these. The game includes ten phases:

The dealer shuffles and distributes 10 cards face down to each player. Keep your cards hidden from opponents.

Completing phases

▪️ Phases must be completed sequentially from 1 to 10.

▪️ You must hold the entire Phase in your hand before playing it.

▪️ You may play more than the Phase requires, but only if extra cards fit directly into the existing Phase.

▪️ Complete only one Phase per hand.

▪️ Successfully finishing a Phase lets you advance to the next one. If you fail, you retry the same Phase next hand.

▪️ Phase completion is credited immediately upon playing it. Winning the hand isn't necessary, and multiple players may complete Phases in the same round.

Note: Having a required Phase in hand doesn't obligate you to play it. You must still discard a card to end your turn.

Going out and Ending the Round:

After laying down your Phase, work to play all remaining cards from your hand.

Always draw one card at the start of your turn and discard one at the end.

Scoring a Round:

The round ends when a player completes their Phase and discards their final card.

Players tally points based on cards left in hand (fewer cards mean better scores):

▪️ Five points (5) per card valued 1–9

▪️ Ten points (10) per card valued 10–12

▪️ Fifteen points (15) per Skip card

▪️ Twenty-five points (25) per Wild card

Your objective is to finish the game with the LOWEST score.

Finishing the game:

If one player completes Phase 10 alone, they win immediately. If multiple players complete Phase 10, the one with the lowest total score wins. Tied players replay Phase 10; the first to complete it and discard all cards wins.
