Rules of the Game Svara (Svarka)

Svara (Svarka) is a captivating card game that can be enjoyed with a deck of 32 cards, ranging from 7 to Ace. It's designed for a minimum of two players and boasts a total of 4960 possible combinations, making every game unique and exciting.

Rules

Each player receives three cards dealt in a clockwise direction. The objective is to achieve the highest score, calculated based on the following rules:

1. Each card from 7 to 9 awards points equal to their face value (7 to 9 points).
2. Cards 10, J, Q, and K each score 10 points.
3. Aces are valued at 11 points.
4. Cards of the same suit sum up their points. For example, Q♦, K♦, and 10♠ total 20 points, while 10♠, 8♠, and K♥ sum up to 18 points.
5. Aces can be combined regardless of suit, with two Aces scoring 22 points and three Aces scoring 33 points.
6. The 7♣, known as "Ceco Jonchev, Chechak, Chotora, Shpoka, or Yoncho," can be combined with any other card to score 11 points.
7. Three 7s together score 34 points, making it the strongest combination in the game.
8. Three of a kind score points based on the value of the leading card multiplied by three. For example, three 8s score 24 points (3x8), while three Queens score 30 points (3x10).

• 7♥, 9♦, 9♣ total 9 points (the lowest scoring hand).
• 10♠, 10♦, 10♣ total 30 points.
• 8♣, K♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• K♥, 9♥, Q♣ total 19 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• A♠, A♦, 10♣ total 22 points.
• 8♠, A♦, 7♣ total 22 points.
• 10♦, 9♦, J♦ total 29 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, Q♦ total 30 points.
• 7♣, K♥, K♦ total 31 points.
• 7♣, A♥, A♦ total 33 points.
• Two 7s, regardless of suit, total 23 points.

Betting

Betting in Svara adds an extra layer of excitement to the game:

1. Before cards are dealt, each player places an ante bet.
2. The player to the left of the dealer starts by placing a blind bet without seeing their cards.
3. The next player can choose to double the blind bet.
4. If a player skips the blind bet, subsequent players cannot initiate a new blind bet.
5. After cards are dealt, players make their bets.
6. If there's a blind bet, the next player must at least double it.
7. To see other players' cards, the player who made the blind bet must pay the current bet.
8. If a blind bet remains unpaid, the player who made the last blind bet wins.
9. The game is won by the player with the highest points.
10. If no blind bets or other bets are placed, the dealer wins.
11. If multiple players have the same points, it results in a SVARA.
12. SVARA triggers a new game with all bets from the previous round carried over.
13. New players can join SVARA by paying the SVARA join amount.
