Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map in each Fortnite Chapter 6 match. Be the first to find and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!

This incredible opportunity allows you to unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: a Roar to pinpoint nearby opponents, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict significant damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!
Defeating Godzilla:
For the 99 players who don't become Godzilla, a thrilling battle awaits. Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla, making him vulnerable to focused attacks. Hitting these weak points will yield Godzilla Fragments, granting 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during this intense encounter.
The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event, providing a potent weapon for dealing substantial damage quickly. High-rarity weapons are also effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers a rewarding challenge and bragging rights. This intense event adds a thrilling new dimension to Fortnite Chapter 6.
