The app revolutionizes the classic game of Mafia by replacing the need for a live moderator, making it perfect for groups of 5 to 40 players. If you enjoy playing Mafia with friends but often lack a professional moderator, this app is designed for you.
For the best experience, the app requires a speaker on your device and ideally a large screen. It announces the game stages and prompts actions by waking up the relevant player. In larger groups, the first eliminated player can take on the role of an assistant master, using the device to indicate which players are targeted, thus eliminating any errors from the lead and enhancing the game with background music and sound effects. The app supports two modes for distributing roles:
First Mode: Roles are distributed via the device, with players receiving their roles by passing the device around.
Second Mode: Players use traditional playing cards or special Mafia cards. The first player to exit the game must then use the device to specify the roles of all active players.
Voting can be conducted in two different ways:
First Mode: Players are nominated for voting one at a time. Each player receives votes from others, and after voting, the next player is nominated. Each player votes once, with the first player chosen randomly.
Second Mode: Players vote in sequence for any player. Each player votes once, and the first vote is randomly selected.
The app offers three distinct game modes:
Open Mode: The roles of eliminated players are revealed.
Closed Mode: The roles of eliminated players remain undisclosed. At night, the master announces that the eliminated role wakes up, but the actions are simulated by the lead at arbitrary intervals.
Semi-Closed Mode: Roles of players eliminated by voting are disclosed, while those killed at night remain secret. The lead continues to simulate their night-time activity.
