This unique card game simulates a round of golf using a standard 52-card deck along with two Jokers. At the start of each round, also known as a "hole," every player is dealt six cards face down. The remaining cards are placed in a stock pile, and the top card from this pile is flipped over to begin the discard pile.
The goal of the game is to reduce the total value of the cards in front of you. Players can either swap their cards for lower-value ones or pair cards of equal rank to minimize their score. After nine complete rounds—referred to as the nine holes—the player with the lowest cumulative score is declared the winner, while the one with the highest score is eliminated from the game.
How to Play
Play begins to the left of the dealer. On each turn, a player draws a single card from either the stock or the discard pile. Once drawn, the player has several options:
- Swap the drawn card with one of their six face-down cards (the new card remains face up).
- Discard the drawn card, ending their turn.
The round concludes when all of a player's six cards are face-up. This signals the end of the current "hole," and scoring takes place based on the values assigned to each card type.
Card Values
- Joker: -2 points
- Ace: 1 point
- King: 0 points
- Queen & Jack: 10 points each
- Number Cards: Face value (e.g., 2 through 10 hold their respective point values)
Each round contributes to your overall score. With a total of nine rounds played, the final standings are determined by adding up scores from all rounds.
