Ani-May on Crunchyroll: Weekly New Releases Including Corpse Party, Crayon Shin-chan

Author : Eric May 04,2025

Crunchyroll's Ani-May celebration is just around the corner, bringing excitement to fans of cult Japanese releases. Throughout May, Crunchyroll Game Vault will enhance its offerings with a new release added to the service each week, starting with the launch of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on April 30th. This Square Enix classic sees players embodying the spirit guardian Lenneth, who recruits fallen heroes for the epic battle of Ragnarok in a Norse mythology-inspired world.

If Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth isn't quite your style, don't worry—May has plenty more in store. From the cult-classic horror RPG Corpse Party to the slice-of-life adventure Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town, and the mobile debut of the survival horror game White Day, there's something for everyone.

Ani-maytedWhile we've highlighted a few exciting titles, there are even more releases waiting to be discovered on Crunchyroll Game Vault. Unlike some streaming services that struggle to capture a gaming audience, Crunchyroll has successfully carved out a niche with its focus on Eastern imports, catering to a dedicated cult-following.

With a library boasting over 50 releases, Crunchyroll Game Vault is set to expand further. If you're a subscriber, make sure to check out the platform this May to explore all the fantastic new additions.

However, if you're curious about other streaming services, Netflix also offers a range of remarkable indie games exclusively available on their platform. For those interested, you might want to explore our list of the top 10 best games currently available on Netflix.
